eBay and Amazon Sellers Can Now Run Their Stores From ChatGPT, Claude and Grok

3Dsellers links eleven sales channels, from eBay and Walmart to Shopify and TikTok, to any AI assistant that supports MCP. No code, no developer keys, and most sellers who connect are already using it to make changes, not just to ask questions.

TEL AVIV, Israel, October 26, 2026 -- An eBay seller can now open ChatGPT, type "which of my listings have errors," and get the list back with the reason for each one. 3Dsellers, the multichannel selling platform, today opened its MCP server to ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor and VS Code and published it in the official MCP Registry, two months after the same server first appeared in Claude's connector directory. Sellers connect once. After that they can ask their assistant to fix listing errors, reprice a catalog, find unshipped orders, import a supplier file or draft replies to buyers.

The connection runs through a hosted MCP server at api.3dsellers.com/mcp. It gives the assistant more than 120 tools and nearly 100 bulk operations on the seller's own stores: eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy and Mirakl marketplaces, Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce web stores, and TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. Sellers sign in with their 3Dsellers account. They write no code and need no developer account at eBay, Amazon or any other marketplace.

How the 3Dsellers MCP server works: the seller asks an AI assistant, 3Dsellers runs the tools, the change lands in the connected stores

Marketplace sellers already use AI, but one marketplace at a time. Amazon says independent sellers created more than 12 million listings with generative AI in 2025, and eBay said in April 2025 that over 10 million of its sellers had used its AI features. Each of those tools stays inside its own marketplace. 3Dsellers uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI assistants to other software, so one assistant can work across all of a seller's stores. Anthropic handed MCP to the Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation in December 2025. ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor and VS Code support it.

Sellers are making changes, not just asking questions

3Dsellers has logged every AI request on its platform since early October. The company does not publish customer counts. The pattern in the logs:

  • The number of sellers using it has grown every week since logging began.
  • Sellers used almost every tool in the catalog within the first two weeks.
  • About three in four connected accounts used their assistant to change something in their stores, beyond reading data.
  • The most common jobs are checking listings and products, looking up orders, running bulk changes, and moving data in and out with imports and exports. Buyer messages come next.
  • Claude is the assistant most sellers use with 3Dsellers, followed by ChatGPT and by coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.

The uses are not what the company expected. One retailer that runs dozens of storefronts through 3Dsellers now handles its buyer messages through the assistant. Another does most of its product edits and bulk price changes from ChatGPT and rarely opens the 3Dsellers app at all.

"Sellers ask the same thing every morning: what didn't ship yesterday? Now they type that question and get the list," said Avi Assa, CEO of 3Dsellers. "Most of the people connecting their stores aren't developers. They run eBay and Amazon businesses, they already pay for Claude or ChatGPT, and now that subscription can do real work for the store."

Example requests sellers type into their AI assistant

One connection for every store

Most seller connectors for AI assistants cover one marketplace, read data without changing it, or expect the seller to run code with their own developer keys. eBay's own MCP package can read a seller's data but not change it. Amazon and Shopify each offer an official connector for their own platform only. When 3Dsellers checked the official MCP Registry on October 23, 2026, no other hosted server could manage listings, orders and inventory on eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy and Shopify together without developer keys.

Control stays with the seller

The assistant works on the seller side only, through each marketplace's official seller APIs, with the seller's own authorization. Sign-in uses OAuth with separate permission scopes. Every request appears in a request log inside 3Dsellers, and the seller can revoke an assistant's access at any time. AI requests share the same rate limits as the REST API. Bulk changes run as tracked jobs the seller can follow and check.

"We didn't want a demo with ten read-only tools," Assa added. "The assistant uses the same engine our app runs on: bulk price changes, imports, listing templates, buyer replies. Most of what a seller can do in 3Dsellers, the assistant can do too, and every step lands in a log the seller can read."

For developers

The same platform exposes a REST API with 132 documented endpoints, an OpenAPI reference at api.3dsellers.com/docs, and webhooks for new orders, CSV import status and buyer messages. Setup examples for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, Cline and Gemini CLI are published at github.com/3dsellers/3dsellers-mcp.

Availability and pricing

The MCP server is available today on every 3Dsellers plan, including the 7-day free trial. Reading data is free. Changes the assistant makes are billed as AI actions, with packs from $9 a month for 2,000 actions. Claude users find 3Dsellers in Claude's connector directory. ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor and VS Code users add api.3dsellers.com/mcp as a custom connector. Setup guides are at 3dsellers.com/channel-integration/3dsellers-mcp.
