eBay Error 71: Your item's location was not filled in. The location field helps buyers determine the shipping cost(s) for the item, and should always be included.

Why this happens

The listing details are missing a Location for the item (where the item ships from). Why eBay enforces this: Buyers see the item location to judge delivery time, and eBay uses it to calculate shipping costs and delivery estimates. Without a location eBay cannot show those details, so it will not publish the listing. When it usually happens: It appears on new seller accounts that never saved a default location, and on imported products where the location columns were not mapped.
