eBay Error 290: You are not the seller of this item. Only sellers allowed to modify the item information.

Why this happens

You are acting on a listing, but the software you are using has a different eBay account active. Why eBay enforces this: eBay ties every listing to one seller account and only that account may change it. A request made with another account's authorization is refused, even if both accounts belong to the same business. When it usually happens: It appears when one 3Dsellers workspace connects several eBay accounts and a listing is revised through the wrong one, or after an account was reconnected under a different eBay user.
