eBay Error 21916805: Your pictures cannot be changed while there is a bid on your item. Because you received a bid while you were revising your listing, the changes to pictures will not be saved.

Why this happens

The Auction you are editing as a bid from a buyer, so eBay will not allow updating images for the buyer's protection. Why eBay enforces this: A bid arrived while the listing was being revised. From that moment eBay protects the bidder by keeping the photos they saw. When it usually happens: It usually appears on popular auctions revised close to their end.
