Sale Type does not Support variation listings.

Variation listings must be Fixed Price. Change the format, or split variations into separate auctions.

Why this happens

The listing includes variations, but the listing type is not Fixed Price (Buy It Now). Why eBay enforces this: Variation listings let buyers choose between versions and buy several units, which only works with Fixed Price. Auctions cannot hold variations. When it usually happens: It usually appears when an auction template is applied to a variation product.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing and set the format to Fixed Price.
  2. If you need auctions, end the listing, copy it to Drafts and create one single-item auction per variation.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Keep variation products on Fixed Price templates only.
