A fixed-price API call was made on an auction listing. Check the listing format and relist as Fixed Price if needed.

Why this happens

eBay's fixed-price API was called for a listing whose format is Auction (Chinese). Auction listings cannot be revised with the fixed-price call. Why eBay enforces this: eBay's fixed-price calls only work on fixed-price listings. Sending one for an auction is refused because auctions follow different rules for price and quantity. When it usually happens: It is one of the most common errors in 3Dsellers logs: inventory sync or bulk price actions include auctions that were imported from eBay.

Example Wrong Settings

An auction-style listing is included in a bulk action or inventory sync that uses the fixed-price revise call.

Example Correct Settings

The listing format is Fixed Price.

How to fix it

  1. Check the listing format on eBay.
  2. If it is an auction, exclude it from fixed-price bulk actions and inventory sync, or end it and relist as Fixed Price from 3Dsellers.
  3. Sync listings so 3Dsellers stores the correct format.

How to prevent it

Filter inventory sync and bulk price actions to Fixed Price listings, and keep auctions in a separate listing view.
