Shipping Policy

eBay Error 19011: Please specify a shipping service and charges for this Item.

Shipping Policy
Copy link

The listing has no shipping policy or its shipping details are incomplete. Assign a valid shipping policy and republish.

Why this happens

The listing is missing a Shipping Policy or needs shipping details with correct information. Why eBay enforces this: eBay requires each listing to state how it ships and what it costs, so buyers see the total price before buying. A listing without a shipping service and cost is refused. When it usually happens: It usually appears on accounts without a default shipping policy, or on imported products whose shipping columns were left empty.

Example Wrong Settings

Listing published with no shipping policy and no shipping cost.

Example Correct Settings

Listing uses the default shipping policy with USPS Ground Advantage at 5.99.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing and select a shipping policy with a domestic service and a cost.
  2. Set a default shipping policy for the seller account so new listings get one.
  3. Check that the package weight and dimensions are filled if the policy uses calculated shipping.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Create a default shipping policy for each account and set it in 3Dsellers so new listings always include shipping.
