eBay Error 10068: Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time.

eBay will not accept this email address for PayPal payments. Use another PayPal email or account.

Why this happens

eBay has restricted using this email address for PayPal payments. Why eBay enforces this: eBay can block an email address for PayPal payments after fraud checks, account limitations or a mismatch with the seller's verified details. Listings using that address are then refused. When it usually happens: It appears on older listings that still carry a PayPal email in the payment settings, often after PayPal limited the account.

Example Wrong Settings

Payment settings use a PayPal email that PayPal has limited.

Example Correct Settings

Payment settings use eBay managed payments, or a confirmed PayPal email in good standing.

How to fix it

  1. In the payment policy, replace the PayPal email with one that is confirmed on an active PayPal account.
  2. If eBay restricted the address, contact eBay support or use a different PayPal account.
  3. Republish the listing from 3Dsellers.

How to prevent it

Move all listings to business policies with eBay managed payments, so no listing depends on a PayPal email address.
