Seller fees

Wish charges no registration, subscription or standard listing fees. It takes a commission on order value including shipping, with separate progressive rates for EU-bound and non-EU orders that depend on merchant tier, category and item price. Third-party seller guides report a maximum commission of about 15% plus a $0.30 fixed fee per item. Wish's official commission FAQ could not be read, so these numbers are not confirmed.

How to start selling

Sign up at merchant.wish.com with an email address and phone number, then complete identity and business verification. Some guides say onboarding is by invitation. Because the owner has had money problems, check recent seller reports before you invest heavily.

Seller questions

Who owns Wish now?

Wish was sold to Qoo10, a Singapore-based ecommerce company, in 2024 for about $173 million in cash. The deal was announced in February 2024. That price was around 1% of Wish's value at its IPO about three years earlier. The Wish marketplace still runs under its own brand after the sale.

Is Wish still a safe marketplace for sellers?

Wish still operates, but its owner has had trouble. In 2024, Qoo10's Korean affiliates TMON and WeMakePrice failed to pay merchants on time, which caused a large seller payout crisis in South Korea. Wish sellers should watch payout timing closely, avoid holding large balances on the platform, and read current seller reports before scaling up.

What fees does Wish charge sellers?

There is no registration, subscription or standard listing fee. Wish takes a commission on each order, based on total order value including shipping. Seller guides report a maximum of about 15% plus a $0.30 fixed fee per item. Wish's help center has the current commission tables, which change with category, item price, merchant tier and destination.

Why is my Wish commission different for EU orders?

Wish uses two progressive commission structures: one for orders shipped to the European Union and one for all other orders. The rate you pay depends on which group the order falls into, along with item value and your merchant tier. Wish's commission structure FAQ explains the current tables.

How do I open a Wish seller account?

Register at merchant.wish.com with a valid email address and phone number. You can create an individual or business profile. Wish then asks for verification, such as a government-issued ID and business documents. Seller guides say approval usually takes 3 to 5 business days, and some describe onboarding as invite-based.

Why do Wish seller accounts get suspended?

Listing prohibited or counterfeit items is a common cause of suspension on Wish. Poor fulfillment, such as late shipping or high refund rates, can also lead to penalties or limits. Read Wish's merchant policies before listing, and check the policy pages in the Merchant Help Center when rules change.

Which countries can Wish sellers ship to?

Seller guides say Wish can reach customers in 78 or more countries. When you set up shipping, you can choose to sell to the United States only, to selected regions, or to all supported countries. Each destination has its own shipping price and delivery rules, so start with the markets you can serve reliably.
