How to start selling
Go to seller.temu.com, choose the country you sell from, and create an account with an email or phone number. Submit your business details (such as legal name, EIN and address in the US) and verify your identity with a photo ID. Temu says applications take about 10 minutes and results usually come within one business day.
Seller questions
Opening a Temu seller account is free. Temu charges local sellers a commission on sales, but it does not publish a public fee table, and the rate for your category is shown in Seller Center during onboarding. Numbers found on third-party sites differ a lot, so confirm your rate in your own account before setting prices.
It lets businesses that hold stock in a country list on Temu and ship orders to buyers in that same country, instead of shipping from overseas. Temu launched it in the US in 2024, and it is now available in more than 35 markets. Sellers ship with their own carriers or Temu-supported logistics providers, and some sellers can also reach nearby markets.
You choose your selling country, create an account with an email or phone number, and submit business information such as your business name, tax ID (an EIN in the US) and address. You also verify your identity with a photo ID and set up your shop and payout details. Temu says approval can come within one business day.
You link a business bank account in Seller Center, and the name on the account should match your business documents. Temu releases sales proceeds, minus its commission and any deductions for returns, after orders are delivered and a settlement period passes. The exact payout timing for your account is shown in Seller Center and was not published on a public Temu page.
Temu does not publish a public help article on closing a seller account. Finish or cancel open orders, wait for returns and refunds to complete, and make sure your balance has paid out. Then contact Temu seller support from Seller Center and ask to deactivate the shop. Closing a seller account is separate from any Temu shopping account.
Temu can restrict or suspend shops for reasons such as failed identity or business verification, prohibited or infringing products, inaccurate listings, late shipments or poor order performance. Check the notice and violation details in Seller Center, fix the cause, and submit an appeal with the documents Temu requests through the official support channel.
Sign in to Temu Seller Center and use its support or help section to reach the seller support team. Temu lists a dedicated seller support team as part of its program for local sellers. Include your shop ID, order numbers and screenshots in your request.
