Seller questions

Is Target Plus invite-only?

Yes. Target Plus is a curated, invite-only marketplace, and you cannot buy your way in. Target recruits brands directly and also reviews applications sent through its seller form. It favors brands that add something new for guests in style, design or value, and that already run reliable US fulfillment.

What fees does Target Plus charge?

There is no setup fee and no monthly fee. Target Plus takes a referral commission on every sale, calculated as a percentage of the item price. Seller guides report 5% to 15% depending on category. Your exact rates come in your seller agreement, and you also pay for shipping, returns and integration.

What are the requirements to sell on Target Plus?

Guides list a US-registered business with an EIN and DUNS number, a US address and a US bank account. You need brand ownership or letters of authorization, GS1 barcodes, and US-based fulfillment via UPS, USPS or FedEx. Orders must ship within 24 hours and arrive within about 2 to 5 business days.

When do Target Plus sellers get paid?

CedCommerce's August 2026 seller guide reports that Target Plus pays sellers weekly, every Tuesday. Target does not publish payout terms on a public page, so check the payment schedule in your seller agreement once you are invited. Referral fees are taken out before the payout.

How do returns work on Target Plus?

Most unopened Target Plus items can be returned within 30 days, compared with 90 days for items sold by Target itself. Customers can return by mail or at Target stores. Sellers must accept both single returns and palletized returns shipped back from stores, and they cover the return costs.

How long does the Target Plus application take?

Target aims to update applicants within 30 days of the application. Guides report that the full review takes about 3 to 6 weeks before onboarding starts. After signing, approved sellers must list 75% of the agreed products within 75 days, so have your catalog data ready.
