How to start selling

Apply through the Shein Seller Center for your region (US, UK or EU). You need a legally registered business, company and contact details, product categories and, in Europe, a VAT registration for each country you sell in. Shein reviews each application before the account is opened.

Seller questions

How much does it cost to sell on Shein Marketplace?

Shein does not charge a setup fee or a monthly fee. It takes a commission on each sale after a 30-day introductory period at 0%. The commission is up to 10% depending on category in the US, 10% on EU sites and 12.24% on the UK site. Optional Shein Fulfillment Service has its own storage and handling charges, and US sellers pay $1 for each order that is delivered late.

Who can sell on Shein Marketplace?

Shein accepts legally registered businesses in its supported seller regions, which are the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Sole traders and unregistered sellers are generally not accepted. Shein reviews each application and looks at business details, product categories and brand fit. Sellers in Europe need a VAT registration in each country where they plan to sell.

Is there a free period for new Shein sellers?

Yes. New sellers on the US and EU seller programs pay 0% commission for their first 30 days. After the introductory period ends, the standard category commission applies to every order. There is still no monthly fee after the free period, so the commission and any optional fulfillment charges are the main costs of selling.

What happens if my Shein order ships late?

In the US program, Shein charges sellers a $1 penalty for each order that is not delivered within 7 business days of purchase. Repeated late shipping can also hurt your account performance. To avoid the charge, ship quickly with tracked services, keep stock levels accurate so you do not sell items you cannot send, and consider Shein Fulfillment Service if your own fulfillment is slow.

What is Shein Fulfillment Service (SFS)?

Shein Fulfillment Service is an optional program where you send inventory to Shein warehouses and Shein stores, picks, packs and ships orders for you. It is not required to sell on the marketplace. Using it adds storage and order handling fees on top of the sales commission, so compare those costs with your own shipping costs before you enroll.

How do I get paid and contact support as a Shein seller?

Payouts, settlement timing and support tickets are managed inside the Shein Seller Center (Seller Hub) for your region. Shein does not publish its full payout schedule or a public support phone number on its open seller pages, so the terms you see in your seller agreement and Seller Center apply. Use the help or support section in Seller Center to open a request.
