Seller questions
Listing is free. When an item sells, Reverb takes a 5% selling fee on the total sale amount including shipping, with a $0.50 minimum and a $500 maximum per sale. On top of that there is a payment processing fee, which is 3.19% + $0.49 in the US for Reverb Payments. International sales can add a 1% cross-border fee, and optional Bump ads and shipping labels cost extra.
If you have sold before, Reverb pays within 2 to 5 business days after the carrier confirms the item is in transit. For a first sale or a local pickup, payment comes 2 to 5 business days after delivery or after the buyer marks it received. Items over $2,000 get an extra security check and pay out 3 to 6 business days after delivery. Your bank may take 1 to 4 business days to show the deposit.
Most sellers are paid through Reverb Payments, which deposits earnings to your bank account. It is available to sellers with a legal residence and bank account in the US, Canada, the UK and many EU countries, and new sellers there can only use Reverb Payments. Fees are deducted from the payout. If no bank account is on file, earnings wait as a Payout Balance until you add one. US sellers can also use Reverb Wallet.
On the web, go to My Account on your dashboard and open the Delete Account tab. In the Reverb app, go to Settings and send an account deletion request. Any active sales, purchases, refund requests, unpaid bills or open statements must be resolved first. Reverb may keep some data for legal or tax reasons for a limited time. Deletion is permanent and the account cannot be reinstated.
The most common reason is an unpaid Reverb statement after the 15th of the month. Other reasons include repeated unacceptable behavior or not fulfilling orders. Reverb Support cannot discuss account status on live chat. Reply directly to the email Reverb sent you about the review, then allow 1 to 2 business days for the team to respond.
Your return policy at the time of purchase decides whether a buyer can return an item they simply do not like, and the buyer pays return shipping in that case. You must complete the refund within 48 hours of getting the item back. If an item arrives not as described and the buyer reports it within 7 days, the seller provides a return label or files a carrier claim. Full refunds return the 5% selling fee.
For 2025 sales, Reverb issues a Form 1099-K to US sellers with more than $20,000 in sales and 200 or more transactions on Reverb. Some states use lower thresholds, such as $600 in California, Maryland, Massachusetts and Virginia. If you reach the threshold and do not provide tax information, payouts are held until you do. Sellers outside the US paid in USD need a Form W-8BEN on file.
