Rakuten France, formerly PriceMinister, is a French marketplace with a website and app. It is mainly used for new and second-hand books, media, video games and consumer electronics. Sellers list products for buyers in France, and seller funds are held in an electronic wallet run by Mangopay, the payment partner.

Sellers request a payout from that wallet and can check the balance in their seller account first. Finish any identity checks (KYC) early so a withdrawal is not blocked. For wallet questions that Rakuten cannot answer, sellers can contact Mangopay directly.

The seller does. Sellers must fulfill their orders, and refund and dispute procedures apply to each sale, along with buyer protections. Buyers can return items within the 14-day return period. French legal duties, such as the legal guarantee of conformity and liability for hidden defects, stay with the seller, not with the marketplace.

Commission depends on the product category and the seller plan. It is about 12% to 21% on the Classic plan and 6% to 16% on the Absolute plan. A handling fee is added per item, from about EUR 0.15 for items under EUR 10 up to EUR 5 for items over EUR 400.

Rakuten France support teams answer seller questions about recent transactions, disputes and returns, including buyer returns made within the 14-day return period.
