Listing is free. In the United States, Poshmark takes a flat $2.95 on sales under $15 and 20% on sales of $15 or more, so you keep 80%. In Canada the fee is C$3.95 on sales under C$20 and 20% on sales of C$20 or more, plus GST/HST on the fee. Poshmark reverted to this structure on October 24, 2024 and removed the buyer protection fee.

After delivery, the buyer has three days to report a problem. Once the buyer accepts the order, or three days pass without a report, Poshmark credits your account with the sale price minus taxes and its commission. You can then redeem the funds through Poshmark's payout options, which include Direct Deposit, ACH, Instant Transfer, PayPal and Venmo, or spend them on Poshmark.

Sales are generally final. A buyer can open a return case within 72 hours of delivery only for undisclosed damage, an incorrect or missing item, an item not as described, or an item that is not authentic. Poor fit and change of mind are not covered. If Poshmark approves the case, the buyer gets a label to send the item back to the seller and is refunded once it is delivered.

Poshmark's Terms of Service let it suspend or terminate an account at its discretion, including when it suspects fraud, abuse or illegal activity. It can also hold funds while an investigation is pending. Users with suspended accounts cannot use Posh Credits during the suspension. The Poshmark Terms of Service state that you may terminate your account at any time. For the 2025 tax year the federal threshold is more than $20,000 in gross sales and more than 200 transactions, and some states use lower thresholds. Their websites now show a closure notice and ask users to contact Poshmark Support for order and account questions, including redemption requests. Poshmark's current sites serve the United States and Canada, with separate fee rules in each country.
