Seller questions

How much does Newegg charge sellers in commission?

Newegg uses category commission rates that it reviews every year. The current table lists 8% for appliances, cameras, cell phones, consumer electronics and video game consoles, 10% for computer hardware, and 12% for most other categories, including accessories, home, toys, software and sporting goods. The table was last updated on April 23, 2026, so check it before pricing.

What membership plans does Newegg Marketplace offer?

There are three plans. Standard costs $0.99 per unique item sold and allows up to 100 listings with basic tools. Professional costs $49.95 per month and allows up to 6,000 listings with full API access and reports. Enterprise costs $99.95 per month and allows up to 12,000 listings and adds A+ content. Paid plans get shipping discounts with Shipped by Newegg.

When does Newegg pay sellers?

Newegg pays the net sale price on the Wednesday of the week in which seven calendar days have passed since Newegg confirmed delivery to the customer. In practice, funds usually arrive about 15 to 21 days after the sale. The minimum payout is $25 for US sellers and $100 for international sellers.

How do Newegg sellers get paid?

US sellers are paid by wire transfer every Wednesday. International sellers can be paid through Payoneer, World First, PingPong or wire transfer. PayPal is also offered, with a maximum of $10,000 per transfer. The payout method is set up in the seller portal during account setup.

How do I contact Newegg seller support?

General seller questions go to seller.services@newegg.com. Questions about Shipped by Newegg fulfillment go to sbn@newegg.com. The seller FAQ lists more contacts for specific departments. Approved sellers can also use the help resources inside the seller portal and the Newegg Seller Academy knowledge base.

How do returns work for Newegg sellers?

For US orders, customers file Marketplace Guarantee return requests, and sellers have 5 business days to respond. For orders sold through Newegg Global to other countries, returns and refunds are handled by the Newegg Return Service, with a 30-day return window. Late or missing responses can hurt your seller performance.

Does Newegg collect sales tax for marketplace sellers?

Yes. Newegg's seller FAQ says Newegg charges sales tax on the seller's behalf in the states where that applies, and handles collecting and paying it. Sellers still report their own income. Ask a tax advisor about income tax forms and any states where you may still have your own tax obligations.
