How to start selling
Apply through the Sell on Kogan page and agree to the Kogan Marketplace Seller Terms and Conditions. Once approved, upload products by CSV, XML or an integration, with valid GTINs for branded goods and a shipping matrix for delivery costs.

Yes, for branded goods. Kogan requires registered and valid barcodes (GTINs or UPCs) for all branded products and removes or blocks non-compliant listings. You may be able to request a GTIN exemption for multi-packs or bundles, non-branded generic goods, and some refurbished goods, excluding consumer electronics.
Sellers set their own prices and shipping, but Kogan monitors listing prices against other online prices. Misleading RRPs, excessive shipping fees, uncompetitive prices and bundles priced above the single items can lead to listing removal, and in serious cases suspension or termination of marketplace access under the Fair Pricing Policy.
Products must comply with Australian and New Zealand laws and Kogan policies. Before listing, check the prohibited and restricted product pages, any ACCC or mandatory product safety standards, and product bans or recalls. Prohibited items include animal or wildlife parts, candles with lead wicks, combustible candleholders, contracts or services, and credit cards or financial products.
Kogan lets sellers set up a shipping matrix that calculates the customer's shipping cost from their location and product weight. The matrix can use per kilo charges, weight ranges or both, with defined zones, postcodes and a minimum charge per zone. If more than one zone applies, the calculation uses the most expensive option.
Yes. Contact Kogan through the enquiry form with the date of your last order and the date the store should be re-enabled, and Kogan will disable your products. Or keep selling and extend the handling delay in your integration. Customer service obligations continue, so all enquiries must still be answered within Kogan's service level agreement.
