How to start selling
You cannot start selling, because ShopHouzz closed on May 22, 2026 and there is no longer a Shop section on Houzz.com. Home goods sellers who used it need a different marketplace.

No. ShopHouzz, the marketplace that replaced the Shop tab on Houzz, told vendors in an email dated May 7, 2026 that it would formally close the business on May 22, 2026. It stopped accepting new orders at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on May 7. There is no longer a marketplace or Shop function on the main Houzz website, so third-party sellers cannot list products there.
Orders placed on or before May 7, 2026 had to be fulfilled and shipped by Friday, May 15, 2026. Any order not shipped by that date was canceled automatically and fully refunded to the buyer. After May 7, the site no longer accepted new orders, and the business formally closed on May 22, 2026.
According to the Houzz privacy policy quoted in trade press, since August 5, 2025 Shop Houzz was operated by Cart.com Holdings 2, LLC, doing business as Shop Houzz. That company handled orders, payments, returns and customer service. In September 2025 it launched ShopHouzz.com as a separate shopping marketplace, and the Shop tab was removed from Houzz.com.
No. Only the ShopHouzz shopping marketplace closed. Houzz.com continues to offer home design ideas and photos, a directory for finding local remodeling and construction professionals, and software for design professionals such as Houzz Pro. Those services were not affected by the marketplace shutdown.
ShopHouzz worked as a vendor program with third-party sellers, similar to Amazon Marketplace. Manufacturers and retailers listed products in categories such as lighting, furniture, bath fixtures and vanities, kitchen products, outdoor living and decor. Many vendors offered free shipping. The standalone site operated for about eight months, from September 2025 until it closed in May 2026.
Houzz no longer has any shopping marketplace or Shop function, so former ShopHouzz vendors need to list on a different marketplace that accepts third-party home goods sellers.
