Seller questions
Not as an open, self-serve marketplace as of September 2026. Home Depot sells online products through its supplier program, including drop-ship suppliers connected by EDI or API. One integration vendor says Home Depot plans third-party marketplace access in late 2026, but Home Depot has not confirmed this on an official page we could find.
Product suppliers submit their merchandise on the New Product Submission site at hdapps.homedepot.com, for store or online consideration. The Home Depot Merchant Team contacts you within 60 days with next steps. You can also use the Supplier Pipeline application on corporate.homedepot.com to check your qualification status.
Home Depot says its Merchant Team will contact merchandise suppliers within 60 days of a New Product Submission. Non-merchandise suppliers, such as service or logistics providers, who email the prospective supplier template are contacted only if selected. If they hear nothing within 90 days, they may resubmit.
Home Depot does not publish marketplace-style commissions because it works with approved suppliers. Pricing, payment terms, and any allowances or chargebacks are negotiated in the supplier agreement. Ask the Merchant Team for these terms once your product submission moves forward.
Home Depot drop-ship suppliers receive purchase orders electronically over EDI or API. They send inventory updates, shipment confirmations and invoices back the same way, and ship orders from their own warehouse or a 3PL. Many suppliers use a connector or integration platform to automate these messages.
Non-merchandise suppliers, such as those offering store supplies, IT services, maintenance, financial services, marketing or logistics, download the Prospective Non-Merch Supplier Template. They fill it in and email it to potential_suppliers@homedepot.com. Home Depot contacts them only if it selects them.
