Monthly subscription of EUR 39.99 excluding VAT with no term commitment. Commission per sale by category, calculated as (sale price including VAT + shipping costs) x category rate; the base rate for new products is 15%, and category rates run from 7% (TV, computers, tablets) to 20% (fashion jewellery). Used products generally carry a rate 2 percentage points higher. Fees for 4x payment are deducted from payouts, and a guarantee reserve can be held.

How to start selling
Register through the Cdiscount marketplace registration portal. You must be registered in the commercial register of your country and declared to its tax and social authorities. You also agree to the Good Practice Charter and must keep a complaint rate of 1% or less and 99% on-time delivery.

The monthly subscription is EUR 39.99 excluding VAT, with no term commitment. On each sale you also pay a commission that depends on the product category, calculated on the sale price including VAT plus shipping costs. The base rate for new products is 15%, and used products usually cost 2 percentage points more.
Cdiscount pays sales proceeds by bank transfer every 10 days, once the order is confirmed as shipped. You need valid bank details and a positive balance. The payout equals sales income minus commissions and the subscription, and refunds, the guarantee reserve and service fees can also be deducted.
You can cancel the Cdiscount subscription at any time, since there is no term commitment, by contacting support from your Seller Area. Termination takes effect at the end of the final month. Your account then stays accessible for 3 months so you can finish handling customer requests and orders.
To open a shop you must be registered in the commercial register of your country and declared to its tax and social authorities. Cdiscount does not limit this to French companies. Almost any product type can be sold, except categories banned by the Charter of Best Practice.
Cdiscount lists a maximum customer complaint rate of 1% and a 99% on-time delivery rate as requirements for sellers. Sellers also sign the Good Practice Charter and the e-commerce players Charter. Falling below these standards puts the shop at risk under the marketplace rules, so sellers should track these metrics in the Seller Area.
Yes. Cdiscount has opened its marketplace to shoppers in Belgium, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg and Italy, in addition to France, which gives sellers access to more than 200 million European consumers.
