WidgetChimp is an eBay listing template and store design tool founded by Matt Ogborne. It offers a drag-and-drop builder with more than 24 widgets for mobile-responsive listing descriptions, so sellers can change colors, layout and shared elements across many listings without editing HTML. Widgets include a reviews widget that shows feedback comments, a related items widget and a delivery ETA widget. It works only with eBay. Older reviews list pricing from $15.95 per month with a 7-day free trial. Its current status is unclear: the Wayback Machine captured the homepage in June 2026, but widgetchimp.com refused connections when checked on 14 September 2026.

Its status is unclear. The Wayback Machine recorded a working homepage at widgetchimp.com on 7 June 2026, but both widgetchimp.com and www.widgetchimp.com refused connections when we checked on 14 September 2026. No shutdown notice was found. It may be a temporary outage or a closure, so existing users should confirm billing and check that their listings still display correctly.
WidgetChimp lets eBay sellers design listing descriptions and store pages with a drag-and-drop builder. Instead of editing HTML in each listing, you manage shared design elements such as headers, colors and widgets in one place and apply them across listings. It offers more than 24 widgets, including reviews, related items and delivery estimate widgets, and produces mobile-responsive templates.
The last public price we found was from $15.95 per month, listed on WebRetailer in a profile updated in October 2022. The Wayback Machine last saved WidgetChimp's pricing page in May 2024. Because the website was unreachable in September 2026, current prices and plan details could not be confirmed. Check with the company before paying.
WidgetChimp advertised a 7-day free trial with no strings attached, and said signing up took about four clicks because it connects directly to eBay. This offer comes from its own pages as shown in search results and from a 2022 WebRetailer profile. With the site unreachable in September 2026, we could not confirm that a trial is still offered.
We found no current cancellation guide. If you still pay for WidgetChimp, first try logging in to your account settings. If the site is unavailable, cancel the recurring payment through your card issuer or PayPal. Then remove WidgetChimp's access under third-party app permissions in your eBay account, and update any listings that use its templates.
WidgetChimp works only with eBay. WebRetailer lists support for all eBay sites, and the tool connects to eBay accounts directly for signup and for widgets such as feedback comments and related items. It does not create listings on Amazon, Etsy or other marketplaces, so sellers on several channels need a separate listing tool.
eBay restricted active content such as JavaScript in listing descriptions from 2017. Several WidgetChimp reviews on WebRetailer from after that change complain that templates did not comply or that features stopped working. If you still use older WidgetChimp templates, check your listings for content warnings and switch to a design that uses plain HTML and CSS.
No current contact details could be confirmed because the website was unreachable in September 2026. Reviews on WebRetailer from 2017 to 2023 often mention unanswered support tickets and billing problems, while earlier reviews from 2014 and 2015 praised support. If you need help with billing, your card issuer or PayPal is the most reliable route.
WidgetChimp describes its builder as a way to remote control the design of your eBay listings, so some design elements are managed from its service. If the service is unavailable, those elements may stop updating or showing correctly. Review your live listings, and consider saving plain HTML descriptions so your listings do not depend on an outside service.
