FAQ

What happened to Skubana?

Skubana was bought by 3PL Central, a warehouse management software company, in April 2021. About a year later, on May 23, 2022, 3PL Central rebranded as Extensiv and renamed Skubana to Extensiv Order Manager. The skubana.com website now redirects to extensiv.com. The software was not shut down; it continues as Extensiv's order management product for brands, and help articles still carry a Skubana OMS section.

When did 3PL Central acquire Skubana?

3PL Central announced its acquisition of Skubana on April 7, 2021. The press release said the deal expanded 3PL Central's inventory and order management offering to drive intelligent order routing and fulfillment from the shopping cart to the warehouse. Two days earlier, on April 5, 2021, 3PL Central had announced a $45 million capital raise led by Mainsail Partners.

What replaced Skubana, and is it still available?

Skubana is no longer sold under its own name. The same product is now Extensiv Order Manager, marketed as Extensiv Order Management for brands. Extensiv's website describes it as a way to bring all orders together in one view across sales channels and warehouses, and offers it in Core, In-House, Network and 360 tiers. The page asks new customers to request a demo.

How much does Skubana (Extensiv Order Manager) cost?

Extensiv does not publish prices for Order Manager. Its Order Management for Brands page lists four tiers, Core, In-House, Network and 360, but shows no costs and directs visitors to book a custom demo with an expert. Skubana's former pricing page is gone because skubana.com redirects to extensiv.com. Ask sales about pricing, contract length and notice terms before signing.

Is there a free trial of Extensiv Order Manager?

No free trial is advertised on Extensiv's Order Management for Brands page. The page offers Request a Demo buttons and invites visitors to book a meeting with an expert for a custom demo. It does not list a free plan or a self-service sign-up, so access starts after a conversation with the Extensiv sales team.

Does Extensiv Order Manager still support eBay?

Yes. Go to Settings > Sales Channels, choose eBay, enter your eBay user ID and click Launch eBay Authorization, then log in to eBay to approve access. Order Manager pushes inventory to eBay every 15 minutes, and an Out of Stock Control setting keeps listings alive at zero stock. Another option limits inventory pushes to US listings. Order Manager does not support Half.com.

How do I export my data from Skubana or Extensiv Order Manager?

Open the Orders module, tick the orders you want, then choose Export Selected Orders from the Import/Export menu. Pick the fields and column names, choose CSV, Excel or text, and click Export Orders. The file is emailed to the account address. Each export is capped at 5,000 rows, so use the Historical Orders Export tool for larger order histories.

How do I cancel Extensiv Order Manager?

Extensiv does not publish a self-serve cancellation guide for Order Manager, and the product is sold through its sales team. To cancel, contact Order Manager support at support-oms@extensiv.com or 888-375-2368 (press 2, then 2) on weekdays between 5am and 5pm Pacific, or ask your account manager, and confirm any contract notice terms. Export your orders, shipments and reports first.

How do I contact Extensiv Order Manager support?

Email Order Manager support at support-oms@extensiv.com or call 888-375-2368, then press 2 and 2 again. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm Pacific. Order Management users also get after-hours phone, chat and email support from 5pm to 2am Pacific on weekdays. On US holidays only critical issues are handled, by phone. Have error messages and steps to reproduce ready.

What are the best Skubana alternatives?

Sellers comparing options to Skubana or Extensiv Order Manager often look at Linnworks, which connects to more than 100 channels; Sellercloud, with over 150 integrations; Ordoro, whose inventory app starts at $349 per month; and Veeqo, Amazon's free multichannel shipping software. Sellers focused on eBay can also consider 3Dsellers, which covers bulk listing, templates, a helpdesk for eBay messages, orders and multichannel selling, from $19 per month.
