Shopify Marketplace Connect is Shopify's own app for selling on marketplaces from the Shopify admin. It was formerly known as Codisto. It syncs listings, inventory, prices and orders between Shopify and connected marketplaces, and includes currency conversion for selling in other regions.
The app is free to install. The first 50 synced marketplace orders each month are free. After that, Shopify charges 1% of sales on additional orders, capped at $99 per month. Marketplace fees, such as eBay final value fees, and payment fees are charged separately.
Marketplace Connect supports eBay, Amazon, Walmart and Target Plus. Walmart and Target Plus are US only. Etsy is not offered for new connections, although sellers who connected Etsy earlier can keep using it. You can connect multiple accounts on supported marketplaces and manage their listings, inventory and orders from the Shopify admin.
Yes. Marketplace Connect can link existing marketplace listings to Shopify products so inventory and orders sync. If you are moving from another connector app, Shopify advises disconnecting and uninstalling the old app first to avoid duplicate syncing and overselling. Review a few linked listings after setup to confirm prices and quantities match.
First disconnect your marketplace accounts inside the app. Then go to Settings > Apps in your Shopify admin, open Marketplace Connect and choose Uninstall. Listings stay live on eBay or Amazon but stop syncing inventory and orders, so update stock another way right away. Billing for synced orders stops once the app is uninstalled.
