Scarcity Manager
Scarcity Manager is inventory software for eBay and Amazon sellers, especially dropshippers and importers.
Scarcity Manager is inventory software for eBay and Amazon sellers, especially dropshippers and importers. Its namesake feature shows only one or two units available on a listing to create a sense of scarcity, while tracking real stock in the background. Higher plans check supplier websites for stock and price changes and adjust eBay or Amazon listings, support more than 300 suppliers such as Amazon, Costco, Walmart, Kogan and VidaXL, and add eBay hot product research, competitor price alerts and an eBay email autoresponder. It works through an eBay approved API app, a Chrome extension for eBay, and an Amazon Selling Partner API app. Users switching from SKUGrid are offered a two month free trial.

Scarcity means showing only a small quantity, such as one or two left, on a listing even when you hold more stock. Scarcity Manager refills the displayed quantity after each sale and tracks the real stock you have on hand. The site presents it as a way to increase buyer urgency on eBay and Amazon.
It works with eBay through an approved API app or a Chrome extension, and with Amazon through the Selling Partner API. The site lists suppliers for stock and price checking including Amazon Australia, UK and USA, Costco, Walmart, Target, Kogan, Bunnings, VidaXL and Wayfair, and says more than 300 others are supported for stock checks.
No public cancel guide was found. Log in to the members area and check the account or billing section, or contact the team by email at info@scarcitymanager.com or through the contact page. Ask for written confirmation, and cancel before the 14-day trial ends if you do not want to be billed.
eBay's drop shipping policy allows drop shipping from wholesale suppliers, but it does not allow listing an item and then buying it from another retailer or marketplace to ship directly to the buyer. Many suppliers in Scarcity Manager's list are retailers, so read eBay's current policy before using supplier monitoring for retail arbitrage.
Quantity Manager offers a simpler low visible quantity tool for eBay. Dropshipping platforms such as AutoDS monitor supplier stock and prices, and multichannel inventory tools such as Trunk or SKULabs sync real stock. eBay management software such as 3Dsellers covers listings, inventory and buyer messaging for sellers who hold their own stock.
