Profit Scraper was a product research tool for eBay arbitrage and dropshipping sellers, run by Profit Scraper Ltd from about 2015. Members entered the eBay IDs of sellers who sourced from online retailers, and the tool scraped their selling items and matched them to products on Amazon or Walmart using UPC or EAN codes, with title matching as a fallback. Results could be filtered by profit, sold count and reviews and downloaded as Amazon ASIN lists for upload through listing tools such as AutoDS or Yaballe. Members could also block their own stores from being searched. The service closed to new members and stopped operating for existing members at the end of 2024.

Key features

  • Scraped hot selling items from chosen eBay sellers
  • UPC, EAN and title matching to Amazon and Walmart
  • Filters for profit range, sold count and reviews
  • CSV export of ASINs for listing tools
  • Store protection from other members' searches

FAQ

What happened to Profit Scraper?

Profit Scraper shut down. An archived notice from 2025 says it was closed to new members because operating costs exceeded revenue, and that existing members could keep using the platform until 31 December 2024. The notice advised members to move to another platform and recommended ZIK Analytics. The domain later became a parking page.

Is Profit Scraper still available?

No. The platform stopped operating at the end of 2024, and on 2026-09-14 profitscraper.com showed a Namecheap page saying the domain had recently been registered. There is no log in, sign up or support channel on the site. Any new site using the name is not the original tool.

What did Profit Scraper do?

It helped eBay arbitrage sellers find items to list. You found eBay sellers who sourced from online retailers, and Profit Scraper scraped their selling products and matched them to Amazon or Walmart listings by UPC, EAN or title. You then filtered by profit and sold count and downloaded ASINs to upload with a listing tool.

Which marketplaces and source stores did it support?

Profit Scraper searched eBay sellers. For Amazon as the source store it supported the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany and Italy, and for Walmart it supported the USA only. It was a research tool only and could not upload items to eBay directly; the site recommended Yaballe or AutoDS for listing.

How can I get my data out of Profit Scraper?

Exports are no longer possible because the platform closed at the end of 2024. Any CSV files of ASINs you downloaded earlier remain on your computer. Your live eBay listings are unaffected and stay in your eBay account, and listing tools such as AutoDS keep their own copies of the products you imported.

What are alternatives to Profit Scraper?

The closure notice recommended ZIK Analytics for item finding and competitor research. Other eBay research options include eBay's own Terapeak product research in Seller Hub and research features inside dropshipping platforms such as AutoDS. Check eBay's drop shipping policy, which requires sourcing from wholesale suppliers rather than other retailers.
