Store owners import products from vetted US and European suppliers, name brands, private label suppliers and AliExpress sellers, set markup rules, and have orders routed to suppliers who ship directly to customers. It syncs product details, inventory and tracking numbers with connected stores. The site currently names Wix, Shopify and BigCommerce integrations, plus CSV files for other platforms. The homepage still says Modalyst integrates with eBay stores, but no eBay integration page, app or help article was found, so in practice it does not connect to eBay. Plans run from a free Hobby plan to a $90 per month Pro plan, and every plan adds a 5% transaction fee.

Wix announced it had acquired Modalyst, a marketplace and dropshipping platform, to give Wix eCommerce merchants a native supplier marketplace and an integrated dropshipping solution. Modalyst had been one of the most successful apps in the Wix App Market and was already a portfolio company of a Wix investment fund. Modalyst's leaders joined Wix as part of the deal.
Yes. On 2026-09-14 the Modalyst website loaded with a banner saying Modalyst has joined Wix.com, and it still invited new users to start for free with no credit card. It promotes its Wix and Shopify dropshipping apps and a BigCommerce integration, and it still offers access to US suppliers, AliExpress products and private label dropshipping.
Modalyst has three plans. Hobby is $0 a month and allows 25 products. Start-up is $35 a month for 250 products. Pro is $90 a month for unlimited products from all marketplaces, including name brands. Every plan also charges a 5% transaction fee on the retail value of orders, and each plan has monthly and yearly options.
Modalyst has a free Hobby plan rather than a timed trial. The pricing page invites retailers to start dropshipping for free, and the Hobby plan lets you add up to 25 products. Paying yearly for the Start-up or Pro plan saves up to 25%, bringing them to $30 and $67 per month.
Log in, click Manage Your Plan and choose the Hobby plan. Modalyst immediately cancels your paid subscription and downgrades you, and you cannot reactivate the old plan without paying again. Uninstalling the Modalyst app from your store does not cancel the subscription on its own, so you must also downgrade inside Modalyst. Questions can go to live chat.
Modalyst's terms say an email or phone request is not a cancellation; you must downgrade to the Hobby plan yourself. When you cancel or downgrade to a free Hobby account, all your items are removed from your store automatically and some related data is lost. Within 90 days, all content is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Not in practice. The Modalyst homepage says it integrates with stores from Shopify to Wix to eBay, but its integration menu lists only Wix, Shopify and BigCommerce, and no eBay app, setup guide or integration page was found. Sellers who dropship on eBay need a tool with a working eBay connection for listings, stock and orders.
The Modalyst website links to a help center at support.modalyst.co, a contact page and the email address team@modalyst.co. The help center has sections on getting started, billing, Wix, AliExpress, orders, shipping, pricing and troubleshooting, and it points users to live chat for questions such as canceling a subscription.
