Go to My eBay and select Account, then Shipping Preferences. Select Opt Out on the right-hand side of eBay International Shipping, then select Done. This removes your account from the program. If you only want to stop certain items from selling abroad, you can manage exclusions instead through Shipping Preferences, your business policies, or by revising individual listings.
eBay says there is no extra charge to ship items with eBay International Shipping and sellers are not charged an international fee. You pay for the domestic shipping label to send the item to eBay's hub, along with your normal eBay selling fees. The buyer pays the international shipping and any import charges, so your cost per order is similar to a domestic sale.
The buyer pays them. eBay's help page says import fees may be collected from the buyer at checkout or on delivery, either through customs or directly by the carrier. The seller only ships the item to the domestic hub with tracking, and eBay handles customs clearance and international delivery from there, so you do not deal with foreign customs yourself.
No. eBay handles international returns for items sent through the program. Because of international legal requirements, buyers can return these items up to 30 days after delivery. You keep your sales proceeds, and returned items or items that could not be delivered may not be sent back to you. This is different from domestic returns, which follow your own return policy.
Once the domestic shipping hub receives your item, the sale is complete. eBay protects sellers from refund obligations, Money Back Guarantee cases, disputes and negative feedback related to problems in international transit after that point. To qualify, always add tracking when shipping to the hub and include the reference number on the label. International tracking is added after the hub receives the item.
Eligible sellers have Above Standard or Top Rated performance, qualify for seller protections, have low or average service metrics and follow eBay policies. Items must be in the US, eligible for export, cost no more than $2,500 including shipping, and stay within 48 inches in length and 44 lbs billable weight (66 lbs for Canada). Hazardous materials, drones, firearms, standalone lithium batteries and fragrances are excluded.
