Descartes Finale (Finale Inventory)

Yes. Finale's About page says the company was acquired by the Descartes Systems Group in 2025, and the product is still sold under the Finale Inventory name with the same website. Pages now carry a Descartes copyright, and support links point to Descartes help and service desk sites. Existing customers keep using the same app.

Finale's pricing page lists Essentials from $499 per month for businesses with one or two warehouses, Growth from $799 per month, and custom Enterprise pricing. Growth adds the mobile barcode WMS module and phone and Zoom support. Standard onboarding is included, contracts usually run 12, 24 or 36 months, and overage charges apply if you exceed plan limits.

The current pricing page did not mention a free trial when checked in September 2026. Finale sells through demos and quotes, with onboarding included in the subscription. Ask the sales team whether a trial or sandbox account is available before signing a contract.

Finale connects to an eBay store using your eBay login. It imports eBay orders every 5 minutes and syncs inventory levels in near real time across eBay and other channels such as Shopify and Amazon, updating listing quantities when stock changes. It works alongside ShipStation for shipping and supports kits, so selling a bundle reduces component stock.

Finale does not publish a cancel button or steps. Because plans are sold on multi-month contracts, read your agreement for the end date and any notice period, then contact Finale support through the Descartes service desk or your account manager before renewal. Export products, stock levels and order history before your access ends.
