It combines order management, inventory, warehouse and shipping tools, retail accounting, CRM and reporting in one system, and it connects to sales channels such as Shopify, Amazon and eBay. For eBay, it syncs orders, payments, stock levels, prices and shipment details, and several eBay accounts can be managed from one dashboard. Brightpearl is aimed at merchants with established sales volume. Sage Group completed its acquisition of Brightpearl in January 2022 and continues to sell it as its own product. FAQ
Brightpearl does not publish prices. Each customer gets tailored pricing after booking a demo, followed by a Technical Solution Proposal that sets out implementation details and costs. Brightpearl says pricing includes unlimited users at no extra cost, implementation and onboarding, and 24/7 support with a dedicated success manager. To get a figure, use the Request pricing or Book a demo options on its website.
No. Brightpearl does not offer a free trial. Instead, prospective customers can book a one-to-one demo with its retail specialists or request pricing. After the demo, Brightpearl prepares a Technical Solution Proposal that describes how the system would be set up for the business and what the implementation and subscription would cost, including onboarding.
Brightpearl subscriptions renew automatically for one-year periods. To cancel, give written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the end of your current subscription period, by email, courier or pre-paid mail to the contact address in your agreement. Export your data before the term ends, because Brightpearl only keeps customer data for up to 90 days after termination.
Brightpearl is owned by The Sage Group plc. Sage announced the deal in December 2021 and completed the acquisition on January 18, 2022. At the time, Sage said it planned to keep offering Brightpearl as a market solution, giving merchants a choice of accounting modules or accounting platforms. Brightpearl is still sold today, and its website describes it as part of Sage Group plc.
Yes. Brightpearl's eBay integration syncs orders, Global Shipping Program orders, payments, inventory levels, prices and shipment information. Merchants can connect several eBay accounts to one Brightpearl dashboard, each with its own stock, pricing and branding, and fulfill eBay orders from the same system as other channels such as Amazon, including orders fulfilled by Amazon.
You can export your data at any time while your subscription is active. After termination or expiration, Brightpearl does not delete customer data from its production environment for up to 90 days, and during that window it can help with exports at its standard hourly consulting rate. After 90 days the data may be deleted. Paid archival services may be available if you need longer retention.
Brightpearl support is available by phone Monday to Friday during regional business hours: UK 0117 981 7361, US 1-888-320-5069 and Canada 1-877-838-9180. Customers can also sign in to the Brightpearl Support portal at help.brightpearl.com to raise tickets and search the Knowledge Center. US and UK teams observe their own public holidays, and tickets sent on holidays are handled in normal hours.
Brightpearl is built for retailers and wholesalers with several sales channels and established order volume. Web Retailer describes it as aimed at merchants trading $1 million or more a year, or expecting to within 12 months. Some long-time users have posted reviews about large price increases at renewal, so smaller eBay sellers often compare it with lower-cost inventory and order tools.
Other inventory and order management platforms with eBay integrations include Linnworks, Cin7, Veeqo and Base.com. Cin7 and Veeqo both offer eBay inventory sync, and Veeqo adds shipping tools. Sellers who mainly sell on eBay and need listing, inventory, order and buyer message tools may also look at eBay-focused software such as 3Dsellers. Compare channel coverage, accounting needs and contract terms.
