FAQ
BaseLinker changed its name to Base.com. The company announced the rebrand in August 2024, saying the new name better reflects its aim to be the base of an online business. Users did not need to do anything: accounts, data, settings and services stayed as they were, and the change was mainly in branding. Some links, such as the login page at login.baselinker.com, still use the old domain.
Base has three plans, priced in US dollars excluding VAT. Freemium is $0 per month for up to 100 orders and 1,000 products. Business costs $99 per month plus $0.49 per order and includes unlimited products and team profiles, 24-month data retention and priority support. Enterprise has custom pricing for sellers with more than 5,000 orders or $300,000 in sales per month.
Yes. Base offers a 14-day free trial with access to all features, and no credit card is needed to start. It also has a permanent Freemium plan limited to 100 orders per month, 1,000 products, three team profiles and six months of data retention, which lets sellers keep using the platform at low volume after the trial ends.
Base has no fixed contract term, so you can leave at any time. Go to My Account and choose Suspend account to pause while keeping your data and settings for up to one year, or Delete account to erase everything permanently. When you cancel, you receive an invoice for the current billing period based on actual usage. Suspended accounts that are not restored within a year are deleted.
In Base, go to Integrations, click +Add integration and choose eBay in the Marketplace section. You are sent to eBay to log in and approve access for Base. The connection stays valid for one year and then needs to be refreshed. After connecting, set up offer settings, map eBay categories and parameters, and turn on order downloads under Integrations > eBay > Orders.
The eBay integration works in both directions. It downloads orders from every connected eBay account, syncs stock and prices from your Base inventory, including price multipliers, sends tracking numbers back to eBay, downloads eBay returns and syncs cancelled order status. Listings can be created in bulk from warehouse products, and you can connect as many eBay accounts as you need without changing the subscription price.
Base says it offers more than 2,000 integrations covering marketplaces, online stores, shipping carriers and business tools. Channels named on its homepage include Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. All plans include unlimited integrations, so adding another sales channel does not change the plan price, and Base says it serves more than 30,000 companies in 180 countries.
Existing users contact Base through the Help and contact section inside the Base.com panel, which creates a support ticket. Base also lists a support email address, a contact form for prospective customers and a knowledge base with setup guides. The contact page does not show a phone number or live chat. The Business plan includes priority 24/7 support, and Enterprise adds a dedicated technical expert.
Other multichannel order and inventory platforms include Lengow, Linnworks, Cin7 and Veeqo. Lengow focuses on Western European marketplaces and advertising feeds, while Cin7 and Veeqo offer eBay inventory integrations, and Veeqo adds shipping tools. Sellers whose main channel is eBay may also look at eBay-focused software such as 3Dsellers for listing, inventory and order management. The right choice depends on channels, volume and region.
