FAQ

How much does Alura cost?

Alura has a free plan and three paid plans. On annual billing the page shows Basic at $7.99 a month, Growth at $14.99 a month and Professional at $29.99 a month. Monthly billing costs more, and Alura says annual billing saves up to 50%. Higher plans raise search limits and add tools such as Pinterest marketing, A/B tests, the analytics suite, CSV export and multiple shops. Prices were checked on 2026-09-14.

Is there a free trial of Alura?

Alura does not run a timed trial. Instead it has a free plan you can use for as long as you like, with no credit card required. The free plan includes up to 5 daily searches per tool, optimization for 10 listings, limited research databases, the profit calculator and the Alura Chrome extension. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time from the billing settings or the extension.

How do I cancel my Alura subscription?

Go to Settings, then Billing, click Manage plan and choose Cancel plan. Your premium features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the account is downgraded to the free plan. Alura warns that canceling can mean losing saved material such as saved keywords, shops and listings. If you want a refund within the 7-day window, you must email support, because refunds are not automatic.

What is Alura's refund policy?

All Alura plans have a no-questions-asked 7-day cancellation period. If you cancel within 7 days of buying a plan, you get a full refund, but you need to contact Alura by email to have it processed. After those 7 days, a cancellation stops the next renewal only. You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period, and the account then drops to the free tier.

Can I pause my Alura subscription?

Yes. Alura suggests switching to the free plan if you need to pause payments. This keeps your account and saved research, while paid limits end at the close of the current billing period. You can move back to a paid plan later from Settings, Billing and Manage plan, or by using the upgrade button in the footer of the Alura Chrome extension.

Does Alura work with eBay, Amazon or Shopify?

No. Alura is built only for Etsy. Its research databases, listing optimizer, follow-up messages and Etsy Ads tools all work with Etsy shops, and some tools ask you to connect your Etsy shop so Alura can read your listings. Its marketing tools also post to Pinterest. The site does not mention any eBay, Amazon or Shopify connection, so sellers on those channels need a different tool.

How do I contact Alura support?

Alura lists hello@alura.io as its contact email on the Contact Us page, which also has a message form. The help center has step-by-step guides and an AI chat assistant for common questions. Paid plans from Basic up include priority support. Alura also asks users who cancel to email the reason, and refund requests within the 7-day window go to the same support email.

What are some alternatives to Alura?

Other Etsy research and SEO tools include eRank, EverBee, Marmalead and Sale Samurai. eRank is known for keyword research and shop audits, EverBee focuses on product research inside a browser extension, and Marmalead and Sale Samurai focus on Etsy search terms. Compare search limits, whether a free plan is offered, and whether you need extra tools such as automated follow-ups or Pinterest posting.
