AfterShip

AfterShip is a post-purchase platform for online stores.

AfterShip is a post-purchase platform for online stores. Its main product, AfterShip Tracking, pulls tracking numbers from connected stores, follows shipments across more than 1,100 carriers, and lets the seller send delivery emails and show a branded tracking page. For eBay, AfterShip has an app that connects an eBay (US) store through eBay sign-in, imports orders with their tracking numbers, and refreshes them every 3 hours. The same company sells other apps for returns, shipping protection, estimated delivery dates and email marketing. There is a free plan, and paid plans are priced by shipment volume. Most of its documentation and features are built around Shopify and other website platforms, with eBay as one of many connections.

FAQ

How much does AfterShip cost?

AfterShip Tracking has a Free plan and paid plans priced by shipment volume. An archived copy of the pricing page from August 2026 lists Essentials from $29 per month and Premium from $59 per month at the lowest tier of 6,000 shipments per year, with extra shipments at $0.08 and $0.12 each. Enterprise pricing is custom. Extra team members cost $10 to $12 per month each. Check the live pricing page before buying, since tiers change.

Does AfterShip have a free plan or free trial?

AfterShip lists a Free plan for AfterShip Tracking next to its paid Essentials, Premium and Enterprise plans. The free plan has fewer features and lower volume than paid plans. The pages checked did not state a separate time-limited free trial for paid tiers, so confirm inside the app when you sign up. You can move from the free plan to a paid plan at any time from Settings > Billing.

How do I connect eBay to AfterShip?

Log in to your eBay account first. In the AfterShip Tracking admin, open Apps, click View more apps, find eBay and click Install app. Pick the right organization if you have more than one, click Connect, then approve the permissions on the eBay sign-in page. AfterShip then imports your orders and their tracking numbers automatically. The help article lists eBay (US) as the supported platform and says tracking syncs from the store every 3 hours.

How do I cancel AfterShip?

Go to Settings > Billing in AfterShip Tracking, click the icon under your current plan, and choose Cancel auto-renewal. Pick a reason, click Continue to cancel, type Cancel, and confirm. You keep paid features until the billing cycle ends, and you can resume auto-renewal if you change your mind. Enterprise customers cancel through customer support, and AfterShip says the free plan is also cancelled by contacting support.

Does AfterShip refund unused days, and what happens to my data?

No. AfterShip's cancellation article says payments for unused days in the current billing cycle are not refunded, even if you cancel immediately. You can still see invoices until the period ends. Once the subscription is inactive, shipment and tracking information becomes inaccessible until you switch to the Free plan or a paid plan. Export any shipment data you need from the dashboard before your paid period ends.

Which platforms and marketplaces does AfterShip work with?

AfterShip Tracking connects to website platforms and tools such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Ecwid, Squarespace, OpenCart and ShipStation, plus support tools like Intercom. Its eBay connection is listed for eBay (US). It tracks shipments across more than 1,100 carriers worldwide. The help center has close to 60 integration articles, so check there for a specific platform before signing up.

How do I contact AfterShip support?

AfterShip runs a help center at support.aftership.com with articles for each of its products, including Tracking, Returns and Shipping. From the help center you can reach the support team, and Enterprise customers are told to contact customer support directly for billing changes such as cancellation. Logged-in users can also reach support from inside the AfterShip admin.

What are some alternatives to AfterShip?

Other shipment tracking and post-purchase tools include ParcelPanel, 17TRACK, Narvar and Route. Which fits depends on your store platform and volume. eBay itself shows tracking to buyers once you upload a tracking number, so eBay-only sellers who mainly want automated shipping emails to buyers may also look at eBay-focused tools such as 3Dsellers, which sends automated buyer messages.
