Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026. Replaces the version of 30 September 2024.
3Dsellers ("3Dsellers", "we", "us") makes software for online sellers: listing, order, inventory, helpdesk and automation tools for eBay and other sales channels, a web application at app.3dsellers.com, a mobile app, browser extensions, an API and an MCP server (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the 3Dsellers website and Services.
3Dsellers is operated by 3Dsellers Ltd, company number 514727213, Shlomo Ibn Gabirol St 30, Tel Aviv-Yafo 6407807, Israel.
1. Three kinds of people this policy covers
- Sellers: the businesses and individuals who create a 3Dsellers account. For your own data, we are the controller.
- Buyers: your customers on eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify and the other channels you connect. We process buyer data on your behalf and on your instructions, as your processor. Section 12 explains what that means for buyers.
- Visitors: people who browse www.3dsellers.com without an account.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, company name, password (stored hashed), and the settings you choose.
- Billing details: the plan you chose, invoices, and the billing name and address. Card numbers are entered directly with our payment processors and never reach our servers.
- Messages you send us: support tickets, chat, emails, feedback forms, webinar and demo bookings.
- Content you create in the Services: listing templates, product data, message templates, automation rules, tags and notes.
Information from the channels you connect
When you link a sales channel, we receive what that channel's API gives us for your account, for as long as the connection is active. Depending on the channel this includes your seller username and store details, listings, inventory, prices, orders, shipping and tracking data, buyer names, addresses, emails and phone numbers, buyer and seller messages, feedback, disputes and returns. Each channel has its own terms and privacy policy that also apply.
eBay in particular sends us a full picture of your seller account: your eBay username and the email registered with eBay, the date you joined eBay, your marketplace site and currency, your store name, URL, subscription and categories, your feedback score and ratings, your seller level and policies, your products and active and sold listings, your sales totals, your orders, your buyer messages and your cases. We also subscribe to eBay's account notifications, so every new order, listing change, message, feedback, return or case on your account is sent to us as it happens, for as long as the account is connected. We use all of it to run the tools you turn on and to show you your own reports.
Information from other sources
- If you sign up or sign in with Google or with eBay, that service sends us your name, email address and account identifier so we can create or find your account. If you come through a partner or affiliate, they send us the referral.
- Our payment providers send us the outcome of a payment, chargebacks and disputes.
- Public business records and the storefront pages of the channels you connect, to fill in your store profile.
Information from your email account
If you connect a Gmail or other mailbox to the helpdesk, we read the messages in that mailbox to show them in your inbox, and we send replies through it. Section 7 describes the rules that apply to Google data.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, screen size, referring page.
- Usage data: which pages and features you use, when, and errors the software encounters. Inside the Services this is tied to your account so we can support you and improve the product.
- Cookies and similar technologies on the website and in the web app. Section 9 explains them.
Information from our browser extensions
Section 6 lists exactly what each extension sends.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Examples | Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Providing the Services | Syncing your listings and orders, sending your automated messages, running your automations, showing your helpdesk inbox | Performance of our contract with you |
| Billing | Charging your subscription, issuing invoices, handling disputes | Contract; legal obligation for tax records |
| Support | Answering tickets, looking at your account to reproduce a problem | Contract; legitimate interest |
| Keeping the Services working and safe | Error monitoring, abuse and fraud prevention, rate limiting, security logs | Legitimate interest |
| Improving the product | Usage analytics, which features are used, where people get stuck | Legitimate interest; consent for cookies where the law requires it |
| AI features | Generating titles, descriptions, prices and category suggestions from your product data (section 5) | Contract, when you use the feature |
| Marketing | Newsletters, product updates, measuring our own advertising | Consent, or legitimate interest for existing customers, with an unsubscribe in every email |
| Legal | Complying with the law, enforcing our terms, defending claims | Legal obligation; legitimate interest |
We do not use your data or your buyers' data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent it out. We share it only as follows.
Service providers working for us
Companies that process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit what they may do with it, in these categories: cloud hosting, storage and network security; payment and subscription processing; customer support, chat and email delivery; product analytics and error monitoring; scheduling; and AI model providers (section 5). We can tell you which companies these are if you ask.
The sales channels and services you connect
When you use the Services to list, message or ship, we send your data to eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google and the other channels and carriers you have connected, because that is what you asked us to do. Their policies govern what they do with it.
Advertising partners
To measure our own advertising and reach people who are likely to want our product, we share limited signals with the advertising platforms we advertise on: events such as "visited the pricing page" or "started a trial", the advertising click identifiers those platforms set, and, for matching, an email address transformed with a one-way hash. This happens only where you have consented to marketing cookies, or for a signup where the platform's rules allow it. You can opt out in the cookie settings on our website and in your account settings.
Other cases
- Integrations you turn on yourself, such as Zapier, the 3Dsellers API and the MCP server, receive the data you configure them to receive.
- Legal requests, and protection of our rights, users and the public, when the law requires or allows it.
- A merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the transferred data.
5. AI features
Some features use large language models and image models from third-party AI providers to generate listing titles, descriptions, item specifics, prices and category suggestions, and to read product pages and photos you ask us to import. To do that we send the relevant product data to the provider: titles, descriptions, images, prices and the page content of the product you are importing. We do not send buyer data to AI providers. Our providers are contractually bound not to use your data to train their models. Prompts and outputs are logged in a third-party prompt-logging service so we can check quality and fix problems (see section 10).
6. Browser extensions
This section applies only if you install one of our Chrome extensions. The Chrome Web Store requires us to state here what they collect. We publish extensions for eBay sellers: a product importer, a sold-history research tool, a product image downloader, an order autofill tool and a fee calculator. They run in your browser and do most of their work locally. What leaves your browser:
- Anonymous usage counts: which action was used (for example "import started", "images downloaded"), the extension version, the marketplace domain, and a random installation id, sent to our servers and stored with our analytics provider. If you are logged in to 3Dsellers, the events are tied to your account. No page content and no product data are included.
- Error reports: when the extension hits a bug, the error message, the extension version and the address of the page without its query string are sent to our error-monitoring provider. Never your email, the page content or product data.
- Feedback you send: the text you type in the extension's feedback form, the page address, and your email if you choose to give it, sent to our support channel.
- Product Importer only: when you import a product, the page address and the content of that product page are sent to our servers to build the listing, and the listing is saved in your 3Dsellers account.
- Order Autofill only: buyer addresses are read from your 3Dsellers account and written into the supplier's checkout form on the page you are viewing. They are not stored by the extension and are not sent anywhere else.
- Image Downloader, Sold History and Fee Calculator: the photos, sold-history pages and prices are read directly from the marketplace into your browser and are not sent to us.
The extensions read your 3Dsellers login cookie only to talk to your own account, and nothing from any other site. Each extension asks only for the permissions it needs and explains them in its store listing. We do not sell or transfer extension data to third parties outside these uses, do not use it for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose, and do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
7. Google user data
Where you connect a Google account (for example Gmail for the helpdesk, or Google sign-in), our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: we use Gmail data only to provide and improve the helpdesk features you see, we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, with your consent, or for security or legal reasons, we do not use it for advertising, and no human reads it except with your permission, for security, to comply with the law, or in aggregated, anonymized form. You can disconnect the account at any time in your 3Dsellers settings or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Mobile app
The mobile app asks for camera access only to scan the QR code used to log in from another device. No photos or video are stored or transmitted. Push notifications are sent only if you turn them on, and you can turn them off in your device settings.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
On www.3dsellers.com we use four groups of cookies: essential (login, security, your cookie choice), analytics (how the site is used), personalization (remembering your choices) and marketing (measuring our ads and building audiences with the partners named in section 4). The banner lets you accept or reject every group except essential, and you can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. In the web app we use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in, keep the app working and understand how it is used. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies, at the cost of some features.
10. How long we keep it, and what happens when you leave
While your account is active
We keep your account and the data synced from your channels for as long as you use the Services.
When your trial ends or you cancel
- Your account moves to a cancelled state and we stop syncing new orders, listings and messages.
- After 7 days we disconnect the channel notifications and turn off image and template hosting.
- After 30 days we delete your listings, orders and messages. Your listing drafts are exported to storage and kept so they can be restored if you come back.
- After 180 days we delete everything else: templates, designs, reports and insights, images, helpdesk data and backups. The account record itself is moved to an archive (see below).
- If you come back and subscribe again, or start a new trial, we reconnect your channels and sync your orders and, if you use the helpdesk, your messages again.
When you ask us to delete your data
You can ask for deletion at any time by writing to support@3dsellers.com. We also honour deletion requests that reach us through the sales channels themselves (for example eBay, Shopify and Amazon account-deletion notices). We then delete your personal information from our databases and file storage within 30 days.
What remains after deletion
- A minimal archive record of the account, kept for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, so that we can show the deletion took place and answer any later claim.
- Invoices and payment records held by our payment providers for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- The history of our conversations with you in our customer relationship system, so that we keep a record of what was said and can respond if you contact us again.
- Usage statistics and error reports with our analytics and error-monitoring providers. These describe how the product was used (for example how many accounts signed up in a month, which features were used, which errors occurred) and are kept for our product and business statistics. They do not include your listings, orders, messages or buyer data.
Other retention periods
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| AI prompts and outputs | Kept in a third-party prompt-logging service for quality and debugging, for as long as we need them to improve the feature |
| Backups | Overwritten on a fixed rolling schedule; deleted data disappears from backups when the cycle completes |
Where a law or a dispute requires us to keep something longer, we keep only what is needed for as long as needed.
11. Where the data goes
We are based in Israel and host the Services in the United States and Europe. Israel is recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate protection. For transfers to the United States and other countries, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) with our providers, or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
12. Buyers: your data and our role
If you bought something from a seller who uses 3Dsellers, that seller decided to use our Services and is the controller of your data. We store and process your order details and messages to run the seller's tools: order management, shipping labels, automated messages, helpdesk replies and reviews. We do not use buyer data for our own marketing and do not sell it. If you want to access, correct or delete your data, please contact the seller you bought from; if you contact us instead, we will pass the request to the seller and help them respond.
13. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy in a portable format, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Write to support@3dsellers.com. We answer within 30 days, may ask you to confirm your identity first, and never treat you differently for exercising a right. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf if we can verify the authorization.
13.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Where we are the controller of your data, you have the rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR listed above, including the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests and to direct marketing at any time. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. When we act as a processor for a seller (section 12), the seller is the controller and your request goes to them.
13.2 United States residents
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, to receive a portable copy, to opt out of targeted advertising and of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. Some disclosures to our advertising and analytics partners (section 4) may count as "sharing" or a "sale" under state law; you can opt out through the cookie settings on our website, by turning off marketing emails, or by writing to us.
In the last 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information, from the sources and for the purposes described in sections 2 to 4: identifiers (name, email, phone, account and device identifiers, IP address); commercial information (subscription, invoices, the listings, orders and messages synced from your channels); internet and network activity (pages and features used, interactions with our site and ads); geolocation at the level of a country or city, derived from your IP address; professional information (your store and business details); the contents of communications with us and, through the helpdesk, with your buyers; and inferences drawn from the above to personalize the product and our marketing. We disclose them to the categories of recipients in section 4.
13.3 Israel
3Dsellers is the database owner (controller) under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981. Most of the information we ask for is not required by law; you choose whether to give it, but without it some or all of the Services will not work. By providing it you give informed consent to its use for the purposes in this policy. You have the right to review the information we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it, as the law provides, and we handle those requests in accordance with it.
14. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access inside the company is limited to the people who need it for their job, credentials to your connected channels are stored encrypted, and we keep security logs and monitoring. No system is completely secure, so keep your password private and turn on two-factor authentication. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and, where required, the authorities without undue delay.
15. Children
The Services are for businesses and adults. People under 18 may not use them. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, write to support@3dsellers.com and we will delete it.
16. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
