The eBay site of a live listing cannot change. End the listing and relist it on the other site.

Why this happens

The eBay Site (US, UK, AU, etc.) cannot be changed if the listing is active. Why eBay enforces this: An eBay listing belongs to the site it was created on (US, UK, DE and so on). Currency, categories, shipping services and fees are all tied to that site, so eBay does not let a live listing move to another site. When it usually happens: It shows up when a seller changes the eBay site on an existing listing in their listing tool, or when a relist is attempted on a different site.

Example Wrong Settings

A listing created on eBay UK is revised with the site set to eBay US.

How to fix it

  1. Keep the current eBay site on the live listing.
  2. To move it, end the listing, copy it to Drafts in 3Dsellers, set the new eBay site (and matching currency, category and policies) and publish.

How to prevent it

Decide the target site before the first publish, and use a copy of the listing when you want to sell the same item on another eBay site.

Example Correct Settings

The UK listing stays on eBay UK; a copy is published as a new listing on eBay US.

The listing currency does not match the eBay site (for example EUR on eBay US). Match them and republish.
Error -

Currency is unchangeable when revising or relisting an item.
The currency of a published listing cannot be changed. End the listing and relist it in the new currency.
Error -
107
The category is not valid, select another category.
The category ID is not valid on the eBay site the listing targets. Pick a category from that site's tree.
