eBay does not allow Dutch auctions (or a quantity greater than one) in the category you have selected.

This category does not allow auctions with quantity above one. Set quantity to 1, use Fixed Price, or change the category.

Why this happens

The listing's category does not allow Auctions or items with an inventory. Why eBay enforces this: Some eBay categories, such as vehicles and certain collectibles, only allow one item per listing and may not allow auctions with more than one unit. eBay enforces this so each unique item gets its own listing. When it usually happens: It usually appears when a multi-quantity product is mapped into one of those categories, or an auction template with quantity greater than one is reused.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing. If it is an auction, set the quantity to 1.
  2. To sell several units, switch the format to Fixed Price.
  3. If the category is wrong, choose another one.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Check category rules before mapping multi-quantity products, and keep separate templates for auctions (quantity 1) and fixed-price listings.
