Your item's location was not filled in. The location field helps buyers determine the shipping cost(s) for the item, and should always be included.

The listing has no item location. Add the city and region the item ships from and republish.

Why this happens

The listing details are missing a Location for the item (where the item ships from). Why eBay enforces this: Buyers see the item location to judge delivery time, and eBay uses it to calculate shipping costs and delivery estimates. Without a location eBay cannot show those details, so it will not publish the listing. When it usually happens: It appears on new seller accounts that never saved a default location, and on imported products where the location columns were not mapped.

Example Wrong Settings

Item Location city and region are empty; only the country is set.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing and find the Item Location fields (city, state or region, country, postal code).
  2. Enter where the item ships from. With several warehouses, use the main one.
  3. Save the location as the default for the seller account so new listings inherit it.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Set a default item location for each eBay account in 3Dsellers so every new listing starts with it, and include the location columns when you build a CSV import template.
