Your account has been placed on hold due to non-payment of a billing balance. Your listing privileges have been restricted. Your full balance amount is due.

The eBay account is on hold for an unpaid fee balance. Pay the balance in Seller Hub, then publish again.

Why this happens

eBay is requiring you make a payment before editing or listing items. Why eBay enforces this: eBay places an account on hold when seller fees stay unpaid. While the hold is active, eBay does not allow new listings or edits, to limit unpaid fees from growing. When it usually happens: It usually follows a failed automatic payment, an expired card, or a disputed eBay invoice.

Example Wrong Settings

eBay invoice of 342.18 is overdue because the card on file declined.

How to fix it

  1. Log in to eBay Seller Hub and open Payments > Seller fees.
  2. Pay the outstanding balance in full.
  3. Wait for eBay to lift the hold (usually within an hour).
  4. In 3Dsellers, republish or revise the listing.

How to prevent it

Keep automatic fee payment on, watch for eBay billing emails, and resolve failed payments on the day they happen.

Example Correct Settings

The invoice is paid, the hold is lifted, and a valid card is set for automatic payment.
