You're not allowed to revise ended listings.

The listing has ended on eBay, so it cannot be revised. Relist it, or stop automations from updating ended listings.

Why this happens

eBay is blocking you from editing Ended listing data. Why eBay enforces this: Once a listing ends, eBay freezes its record for buyers and sales history, so it cannot be revised. The item can only be sold again through a relist or a new listing. When it usually happens: It is one of the most common errors in automated syncs: price or stock updates keep targeting listings that already ended or sold out. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. German: Beendete Angebote können nicht ĂŒberarbeitet werden. French: Vous n'ĂȘtes pas autorisĂ© Ă  modifier des annonces terminĂ©es.

Example Wrong Settings

Repricing rule changes the price of a listing that ended three days ago.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, run a listings sync so ended listings are marked as ended and price or stock syncs stop retrying them.
  2. To sell the item again, relist it from 3Dsellers.
  3. Check inventory sync and repricing rules so they only target active listings.

How to prevent it

Sync listings on a schedule and filter automations to active listings only, so ended items are skipped automatically.
