eBay cannot find the listing or offer being updated; it probably ended or was created elsewhere. Sync and relist or re-import.

Why this happens

eBay's Inventory API could not find the offer, inventory item or listing referenced by the update. The listing was probably ended or deleted on eBay, or it was created with a different tool. Why eBay enforces this: Updates go to a specific offer or inventory record on eBay. If that record was deleted, the listing ended, or it was created by another app, eBay cannot find it. When it usually happens: It usually appears when listings ended on eBay but inventory or price sync still targets them.

Example Wrong Settings

An inventory sync updates a listing that was ended on eBay yesterday.

How to fix it

  1. Check the listing on eBay. If it ended, remove it from sync or publish it as a new listing from 3Dsellers.
  2. If it is active, re-import the listing into 3Dsellers so the link to eBay is refreshed.

How to prevent it

Sync listings regularly and avoid managing the same listings from two different listing tools.

Example Correct Settings

Listings are synced; ended ones are excluded from updates and active ones carry the correct eBay IDs.
