The package weight is missing, zero or not a number. Enter a positive weight and republish.

Why this happens

The package weight sent to eBay is missing, zero, negative or not a number. Why eBay enforces this: eBay's inventory service expects weight as a positive number with a unit. A missing, zero or non-numeric weight cannot be used to calculate postage, so the offer is refused. When it usually happens: It usually appears on products imported without weight or with weights such as '1,5' that use a comma decimal separator.

Example Wrong Settings

Package weight is empty or written as "1,5" instead of 1.5.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's package settings and enter a weight above zero, for example 1.5.
  2. For CSV imports, make sure the weight column contains plain numbers with a dot as the decimal separator.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Store weights with a dot as the decimal separator and give every product type a default weight.
