A generic internal error from eBay's inventory API, usually temporary. Retry; if it persists, republish manually for details.

Why this happens

eBay's Inventory / Offer API returned a generic internal error. This is on eBay's side and usually temporary, but it can also mean the listing data hit an undocumented eBay validation. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. French: Une erreur système est survenue.

How to fix it

  1. Retry after a few minutes.
  2. If the same listing keeps failing, open it in 3Dsellers and publish manually to see the detailed message; check for unusual characters or very long values.
