The dimension unit does not match the eBay site (inches vs centimeters). Switch the unit to the site's and republish.

Why this happens

The package dimensions use a measurement system (inches / centimeters) that the eBay site you are listing on does not accept. Some eBay sites only accept metric, others only imperial. Why eBay enforces this: Each eBay site uses one dimension unit for shipping. Mismatched units would give wrong postage. When it usually happens: It usually appears when listings are copied between eBay US and European sites. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. French: La valeur indiquée pour l'unité de dimension n'est pas prise en charge pour le site de mise en vente.

Example Wrong Settings

Package dimensions are in inches but the listing is on eBay Germany, which expects centimeters.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's package settings.
  2. Change the dimension unit to the one the eBay site uses: inches for eBay US, centimeters for most other sites.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Convert package dimensions when copying listings to another site.
