Why this happens

eBay requires listings in Parts & Accessories categories to accept returns for at least 30 days with the seller paying return shipping. The return policy attached to the listing does not meet that. When it usually happens: It appeared on many parts listings after eBay introduced the rule.

Example Wrong Settings

A car part is listed with a 14-day return policy where the buyer pays return shipping.

How to fix it

  1. In eBay Seller Hub create or edit a return policy: returns accepted, 30 days or more, seller pays return shipping.
  2. Refresh policies in 3Dsellers and assign it to your auto-parts listings (a bulk action can do all of them at once).
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Set a compliant return policy as the default for parts categories.
