Why this happens

The condition value on the listing is not one of the conditions eBay allows in the selected category. Each category has its own list of valid conditions. Why eBay enforces this: Each category has its own condition IDs. A condition ID that does not exist in the category is refused. When it usually happens: It usually appears after category changes or when condition IDs were imported from another category.

Example Wrong Settings

Condition "New with tags" (a clothing condition) is used in an electronics category.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing and re-select the condition from the list for the chosen category.
  2. For many listings, use a mapping rule to map condition values per category.
  3. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Use mapping rules that set condition per category.

Example Correct Settings

Condition is "New" in an electronics category.
