Inventory-based listing management is not currently supported by this tool. Please refer to the tool used to create this listing.

The listing was created with eBay's inventory-based system and this tool cannot edit it. Edit it in the tool that created it.

Why this happens

The software you are using to edit the listing does not support the listing's technical format. Why eBay enforces this: Listings created with eBay's newer inventory system can only be edited by the app that created them. Other tools are refused. When it usually happens: It usually appears on listings originally created by eBay's own tools or another listing app.

Example Wrong Settings

Listing created by another app is revised from 3Dsellers.

How to fix it

  1. Edit the listing in the software that created it (for example eBay's own inventory tools or another lister).
  2. To manage it from 3Dsellers, end it there and publish it fresh from 3Dsellers.

How to prevent it

Manage each listing from one tool, and move listings to 3Dsellers by publishing them fresh.

Example Correct Settings

Listing ended in the original app and republished from 3Dsellers.
