Why this happens

The listing is included in an eBay promotion (Markdown Sale / Sale Event). While the sale runs, eBay locks the listing price so the discount stays honest. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. German: Der Preis fĂŒr diesen Artikel kann nicht aktualisiert werden, da der Artikel Teil einer Sonderaktion ist. Example Wrong Settings

A repricing rule or bulk price update tries to change the price of an item that is in an active Markdown Sale on eBay.

How to fix it

  1. In eBay Seller Hub open Marketing > Promotions and find the sale that includes this listing.
  2. Remove the listing from the sale, or end the sale, or recreate it with the option that allows price updates during the sale.
  3. Republish the price from 3Dsellers.
  4. If a repricer keeps hitting this, exclude listings that are in active promotions from the rule.

Example Correct Settings

The item is not in an active Markdown Sale, or the sale was created with price updates allowed.
