You reached eBay's monthly selling limit for items or value. Request a higher limit or reduce the quantity you publish.

Why this happens

eBay limits the number of stock each eBay account can list, and value of total sellable inventory. Check your eBay Seller Hub Overview to view the current selling limits. Why eBay enforces this: eBay sets monthly limits on how many items and how much total value each account can list. The limits grow with sales history and account standing. When it usually happens: It usually appears on newer accounts during large imports, or when a store expands quickly. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. German: Mit diesem Angebot wĂŒrden Sie Ihren Höchstbetrag fĂŒr eingestellte Artikel ĂŒberschreiten. Bitte reduzieren Sie den Startpreis oder beantragen Sie eine Erhöhung Ihres Limits.

Example Wrong Settings

New account imports 2,000 listings while its limit is 100 items.

How to fix it

  1. Open eBay Seller Hub > Overview and check your current selling limits and how much is used.
  2. Request a limit increase from that page (eBay often approves within a day for accounts in good standing).
  3. Meanwhile, lower the listing quantity or price so the listing fits inside the remaining limit, or wait until the limit resets on the 1st of the month.
  4. In 3Dsellers, use inventory sync limits to publish a smaller quantity on eBay while keeping the full stock in your catalog.

How to prevent it

Check your selling limits in Seller Hub before large imports, and request increases ahead of expansion.
