The listing was revised more than 250 times today, eBay's daily limit per item. Reduce how often it is updated.

Why this happens

eBay limits how many times a single listing can be revised through the API in one day (250 revisions per item). Frequent automatic price or quantity updates on the same listing use up that quota. Why eBay enforces this: eBay caps how many times one listing can be revised per day (250) to protect its systems. After the cap, updates to that item are refused until the next day. When it usually happens: It is one of the most frequent errors in 3Dsellers logs, caused by inventory or price sync updating the same fast-moving listings many times a day. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. German: Sie haben Ihr maximales Aufruf-Limit von 250 fĂŒr item per day erreicht. Versuchen Sie es in 1 day erneut. Example Wrong Settings

A listing linked to a fast-changing supplier feed is revised every few minutes, so it hits 250 revisions before the day ends.

How to fix it

  1. Wait 24 hours; the limit resets daily.
  2. In 3Dsellers, lengthen the inventory-sync interval for that supplier or store.
  3. In repricing rules, set a minimum price change so tiny changes do not trigger a revision.

How to prevent it

Use longer sync intervals for large catalogs, and only send updates when stock or price actually changed.

Example Correct Settings

Inventory sync runs every few hours and price rules only push a revision when the price changes by more than a set amount.
