Buyers love large photos that clearly show the item, so please upload high-resolution photos that are at least 500 pixels on the longest side.

One or more photos are smaller than eBay's 500 px minimum. Replace them with larger images and republish.

Why this happens

One or more of the product photos are too small. Why eBay enforces this: eBay requires photos to be at least 500 pixels on the longest side so buyers can zoom in and see details. When it usually happens: It usually appears with supplier thumbnails or images taken from old listings. On eBay's local sites this error reads as follows. German: Die Auflösung der bereitgestellten Bilder entspricht nicht den Anforderungen des eBay-Bildergrundsatzes. Bitte verwenden Sie nur Bilder, die an der lĂ€ngsten Seite mindestens 500 Pixel groß sind. French: La rĂ©solution des photos fournies ne respecte pas les exigences du RĂšglement sur les photos d'eBay. Veuillez utiliser uniquement des photos dont le cĂŽtĂ© le plus long mesure au moins 500 pixels.

How to fix it

  1. In 3Dsellers, open the listing's Photos tab and check the image sizes; anything under 500 px on its longest side fails.
  2. Replace small images with versions at least 500 px (1600 px is eBay's recommendation for zoom).
  3. Check variation photos too; the rule applies to them as well.
  4. Publish again.

How to prevent it

Ask suppliers for full-size images and check image sizes during import.
