Why this happens

The listing was edited, but eBay temporarily blocked this action to protect buyers who are actively engaged in purchasing your item (or to prevent changes from occurring immediately before the listing ends). Why eBay enforces this: Several listing fields are locked while there are bids, offers or less than 12 hours left. eBay protects buyers from changes to what they are buying. When it usually happens: It usually appears during bulk revisions that touch many fields at once on active listings.

How to fix it

  1. Resolve open Best Offers on the listing in eBay.
  2. For an auction with a bid or a listing ending within 12 hours, wait for it to end and relist with the changes.
  3. Republish from 3Dsellers afterwards. Fields that are not locked (for example price or quantity on fixed-price listings) usually still update.

How to prevent it

Answer offers before large bulk revisions, and schedule them away from auction end times.
